Cape Girardeau: Arrests; Thefts; Miscellaneous; Jackson: Burglary; Miscellaneous

Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A subject was in custody pending charges for domestic assault and possession of a marijuana.

* Gregory Thomas Jr., 28, 51 Hazel St., No. 10, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.

* A subject was in custody pending charges for domestic assault, stealing and trespassing.

* A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of possession of tobacco by a minor.

* Jeremy D. Hentges, 22, of Imperial, Mo., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for trespassing and resisting/interfering with arrest and two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for improper backing, leaving the scene of an accident, false declaration and no operator's license.

Thefts

* A mower, weed trimmer and hedge trimmer were reported stolen at 722 North St.

* A television was reported stolen at 210 S. Hanover St.

* Rhodes 101, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported two incidents of theft of gasoline.

* Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kings?highway, reported a theft of gasoline.

* Passing a bad check and identity theft were reported.

* Jewelry, a digital camera and clothes were reported stolen at Bellevue and Middle streets.

* An iPod was reported stolen at 235 Merriwether St.

Miscellaneous

* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.

* An 18-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported in the 100 block of North Shawnee Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

* Harassment was reported in the 600 block of Broadridge Drive.

* Telephone harassment was reported in the 1300 block of Brandom Street.

* Fraud was reported in the 1500 block of North High Street.
