The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWIs Christopher L. Grindstaff, 25, of 10543 Chapparal Park, Dexter, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, operating a vehicle without expired plates, no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jason D. Bates, 22, of 224 N. Park, Apt. 1, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Arrests Debra M. Nixon, 46, of 818 Jefferson, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
Heather D. Hendrix, 17, of 3912 Scenic, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault and property damage.
July D. Edmundson, 28, of 1738 Westridge, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for stealing.
Lance W. Farrow, 34, of 606 Sycamore, No. 4, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stealing.
Leonard D. Fox, 42, of 4808 Johnson Road 116, Wichita Falls, Texas, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of trespassing.
Summonses Shamika L. Suggs, 24, of 1923 Emily Court, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Tuesday for a leash law violation and failure to display an animal license.
Amy J. Stoffregen, 23, of 635 Charles, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Tuesday for animal neglect.
Jason C. Potter, 26, of 1111 Bloomfield, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Wednesday for a leash law violation.
Thefts Checks were reported stolen Tuesday at 1108 Perry.
A Missouri license plate, 272-MG3, was reported stolen Tuesday at 1507 Independence.
A CD system was reported stolen Tuesday by Aldi's at 2145 Independence.
Cash was reported stolen Tuesday by Hamburger Express at 902 William.
Keys, a remote door clicker and identification were reported stolen Wednesday at 2021 Themis.
Property Damage A vehicle was reported damaged Wednesday at 1 S. Frederick.
Miscellaneous An animal bite was reported Tuesday at 2536 Boutin.
Forged checks were reported Tuesday at 3439 William.
