Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported at 2810 Independence St.

Arrests

  • Jerry Myers, 46, of 2808 Cape Girardeau County Road 318, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license was suspended, failing to drive in a single lane, failing to stop and failing to wear a seat belt.
  • Christopher Ives, 24, of Cobb County, Ga., was arrested on suspicion of probation violation.
  • A suspect was taken into custody pending the filing of charges of theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported at 2318 Earleen St.

Miscellaneous

  • A wallet was found at 1230 W. Cape Rock Drive.
  • A child's blue and yellow tote bag, a blanket and a small Batman pillow were found at Lexington Avenue and Kingshighway.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summonses

  • Charles T. McClard, 19, of Jackson was issued a summons for possession of alcohol by consumption.
  • Charles A. Ryan, 19, of Whitewater was issued a summons for possession of alcohol by consumption.
  • Three juveniles were referred to juvenile authorities for truancy.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported in the 1900 block of Aaron Drive.

Fraud

  • Internet fraud was reported in the 200 block of Statler Way.
  • Check fraud was reported in the 100 block of West Main Street.

Thefts

  • A license plate was reported lost or stolen in the 300 block of South Missouri Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Property damage

  • A vehicle window was reported broken in the 800 block of East Independence Street.
  • A vehicle window was reported broken in the 300 block of North West Lane.

Miscellaneous

  • A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of East Lane.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of North Farmington Road.
