Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests George McSpadden, 41, of 2810 Independence, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Friday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Erica N. Ishum, 20, of 11355 Parkmont, St. Louis, was arrested Friday on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.

Christopher Leavy, 42, of 45 S. West End Blvd., Cape Girardeau, was arrested Friday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Erik R. Taber, 19, of 301 S. Franklin, Charleston, Mo., was arrested Saturday on a Charleston warrant for contempt of court.

Summons Steven Hente, 40, of Rural Route 1, Box 279G, McClure, Ill., received a summons Saturday for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thefts A green 1995 Ford Taurus, bearing Missouri license number 685 DAW, was reported stolen Friday at 740 Broadway.

A vehicle window was reported broken and a purse and its contents stolen Saturday at the 200 block of Water Street.

Rhodes reported gasoline stolen Saturday at 449 S. KIngshighway.

Forged checks and stolen money were reported Saturday at 1700 Broadway. A suspect was placed in custody pending the filing of formal charges.

Burglary An attempted burglary was reported Saturday at 1710 N. Sprigg.

An attempted burglary was reported Saturday by Near and Far Properties at 124 S. Lorimier.

A burglary was reported Saturday at 3020 Boutin, No. 131. A DVD player, DVDs, a PlayStation II, money and liquor were taken.

Property Damage

A vehicle top was reported damaged Friday at 1800 Broadway.

A vehicle windshield was reported damaged Saturday at 124 S. Lorimier.Miscellaneous

Check fraud was reported Friday at 1542 N. Spanish.
