PATTON, Mo. -- A Patton man was seriously injured Wednesday night in an accident east of Patton.

Phillip Mize, 24, was taken by helicopter to St. Francis Medical Center after the 8:46 p.m. accident. It occurred on Highway 72, two miles east of Patton.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Mize's vehicle ran off the road and overturned.
