The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Christopher R. Pickett, 27, of Lowell, Indiana, was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and failure to display head lights/tail lights when required.

Arrests

* Jerry L. Franklin Jr. 31, 930 E. Main St., No. 4, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Deeann M. Beine, 56, of 405 N. Shawnee Blvd., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to use child restraint.

* Christopher L. Franklin, 28, 113 S. Farmington Road, No. 4, was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.

Summonses

* Patricia L. Dubbs, 48, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Tony D. Hughes, 23, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was issued a summons for failure to maintain insurance.

* Nicole C. Darwin, 29, of Fredericktown, Missouri, was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle when operator's license expired.

* Parker J. Outman, 17, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Christopher M. Radford, 24, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator's license.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 700 block of Connie Drive.

* Theft was reported in the 800 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 500 block of Nellie Street.

Miscellaneous

* An assist was requested in the area of Klaus Park.

* Check the welfare was requested in the 100 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.

* A court-order violation was reported in the 2700 block of Mansfield Place.
