Jackson police report 8/2/16

JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Alphonso Turner, 49, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Scott County warrant.
• Andrew T. Laxton, 23, of Bonne Terre, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while operator's license suspended, failure to provide license when requested, failure to affix plates to vehicle, displaying the plates of another, failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.

Summonses

• Randy D. Lange, 62, of Millersville was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
• Jeremy W. Shirrell, 39, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Theft

• Theft was reported in the area of Old Cape Road and Old Hickory Drive.

Miscellaneous

• Check the welfare was requested in the 1500 block of Oak Street.
• Peace disturbance was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• Check the welfare was requested in the 1100 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• Peace disturbance was reported in the 700 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
• Peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Broadridge Drive.
• An assist was requested in the 700 block of North Farmington Road.
