JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• Michael D.W. Pruitt, 18, 641 Greensferry Road, was arrested on suspicion of armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, kidnapping, felonious restraint and first-degree domestic assault.

Summonses

• Jamison L. Ashworth, 29, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to yield.
• Patricia C. Seabaugh, 51, of Jackson was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle and display plates of another vehicle.

Thefts

• Theft was reported in the 700 block of West Washington Street.
• Theft was reported in the area of East Washington and North Georgia streets.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported in the area of city park.

Miscellaneous

• Fraud was reported in the 2300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• Check the welfare was requested in the 300 block of East Washington Street.
• Peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
