The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* John D. Hill, 36, 502 N. Hope St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* Mark T. Hoffmeister, 44, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Summonses

* Kailyn J. Schutte, 21, of Cape Girardeau received a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Theft

* Theft was reported in the 3600 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 300 block of Greensferry Road.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Morgan Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 800 block of West Main Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of North Farmington Road.
