POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summons

* Demetrius Willis, 21, of Cape Girardeau received a summons for speeding and driving while license revoked.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 1200 block of Brandom Street.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 300 Block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 100 Block of Court Street.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 400 block of East Lane.

Miscellaneous

* A court order violation was reported in the 700 block of West Adams Street.

* Check the welfare was requested at East Jackson Blvd. and Walton Drive.

* Check the welfare was requested in the area of West Main Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Broadridge Drive.
