JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* Newton M. Gilliland, 43, 609 Anise Lane, was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle while operator's license revoked, speeding and failure to maintain insurance.

* April F. Motsinger, 42, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to maintain a single lane, causing a single-vehicle accident and failure to maintain insurance.

Arrests

* Cory A. Ponder, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.

Summonses

* Brandy N. Swindle, 33, 537 E. Adams St., No. 1, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.

* Bradley Gregory, 36, 314 N. Farmington Road, was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle while operator's license suspended and operating a trailer without a license plate or working lights.

* Cody Thompson, 25, of Salem, Missouri, was issued a summons for a seat-belt violation.

* Bruce W. Anglin Jr., 30, of Bunker Hill, Illinois, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.

Theft

* Theft was reported in the 2700 block of Mansfield Place.

Miscellaneous:

* An assist was requested in the 300 block of East Lane.

* An assist was requested in the 400 block of N. Shawnee Boulevard.

* Check the welfare was requested in the 800 block of Jessica Street.

* A weapons violation was reported in the area of Symphony Drive.

* Peace disturbance was reported in the area of Donald and East Main streets.

* Peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of East Lane.

* Peace disturbance was reported in the 500 block of Donna Drive.

* Peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of East Lane.
