The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Ricky N. Kelley, 54, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for a show cause order.
  • Nicholas G. Griffin, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of assault, unlawful use of a weapon and peace disturbance.
  • Kyle E. Johnson, 25, 607 N. Maryland St., was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
  • Forest A. Kinaid, 20, 503 Equine Trail, was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive on right half of roadway, stop-sign violation, displaying plates of another, failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.
  • Dustin R. Everett, 26, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for a show cause order.

  • Tracy L. Schreiner, 41, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for turn-signal violation.
  • Sarah S. Landewee, 35, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Vincent E. Overbeck, 54, of Jackson was issued summonses for consumption of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle and speeding.
  • Tommy L. Tucker, 36, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Nancy M. McGuire, 47, of Jackson was issued a summons for speeding and two summonses for failure to provide child a safety restraint.
  • Donald A. Lehnig III, 28, of Jackson was issued summonses for speeding and seat-belt violation.

  • Ryan P. Hennecke, 19, of Jackson was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle while operator's license suspended.
  • Zachary J. Weston, 22, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to maintain insurance.
  • Karin Y. Dykes, 48, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to maintain insurance.
  • John N. Egbuka, 59, of Jackson was issued a summons for public nuisance (trash).
  • Benjamin J. Essner, 32, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator's license.

Thefts

  • Theft was reported in the 100 block of Tracy Street, 400 block of Whetstone Way, and 100 block of East Lane.

Miscellaneous

  • Assists were requested in the 300 block of North Missouri Street and the 800 block of Dorothy Drive.
  • Check the welfare was requested in the 2300 block of Stotler Way.
  • Fireworks violations were reported in the area of Jackson Ridge Drive and the area of Birdie Lane.
  • Domestic disturbance was reported in the area of East Main Street and North Bellevue Street.
  • A fight in progress was reported in the 100 block of Grandview Drive.
