The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
* Brad A. Nielsen, 52, of Burfordville was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for a show-cause order.
* James L. Holloway, 69, 308 Kate St., was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
* Victor W. Powell III, 34, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while operator's license was revoked or suspended.
* Donna J. Hurst, 44, 415 N. Russell Ave., was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting.
* Leah T. Hanks, 17, 824 Strawberry Lane, was issued a summons for a stop-sign violation.
* Brittany P. Stewart, 19, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
* Theft was reported in the 600 block of East Adams Street.
* Theft was reported in the 500 block of East Adams Street.
* Theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
* Property damage was reported in the 3100 block of East Main Street.
* Check the welfare was requested in the 900 block of East Main Street.
* A fireworks violation was reported in the area of Orchard Drive.
* A fireworks violation was reported in the area of City Park.
* A fireworks violation was reported in the area of Henderson and Oak streets.
* A weapons violation was reported in the 100 block of Donald Street.
* A peace disturbance was reported in the 2000 block of Old Toll Road.
* A peace disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Hickory Street.
* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Colorado Street.
* Fraud was reported in the 2500 block of Travelers Way.
* An assist was requested in the 100 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.
* An assist was requested in the 400 block of North Shawnee Boulevard.
* Check the welfare was requested in the 300 block of Willow Bend Drive.
* A fireworks violation was reported in the area of City Park.
* Keep the peace was requested in the 1200 block of Brandom Street.
* A peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of North Ohio Street.
* A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
