The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Derrell P. Spivey Jr., 32, of Sullivan, Indiana, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana under 35 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Tyler L. Akers, 20, 829 Old Cape Road, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Bethanie A. Kaiser, 17, of St. Louis was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant.
  • Keith B. Slinkard, 51, 748 Abbie Court, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on original charges of peace disturbance and assault.
  • Dewayne Clark, 48, 825 Clark St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

  • Thefts were reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard, the 100 block of North Neal Street, the 400 block of Greensferry Road and the 100 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 700 block of Emma Street.

Miscellaneous

  • Assists was requested in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard and the 1300 block of North Street.
  • Check the welfare was requested in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard, the 4800 block of Coventry Drive and the 3100 block of Old Cape Road.
  • A court-order violation was reported in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Domestic disturbances were reported in the 500 block of Eastview Court and the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of East Lane.
