The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Stephanie D. Clifton, 29, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • A 14-year-old boy was referred to juvenile authorities on suspicion of assault.
  • Christina M. Wilburn, 32, 224 Daisy Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.
  • Amanda S. Overbeck, 44, 288 County Road 466, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana under 35 grams and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Summonses

  • Donald G. Lewis, 48, of Jackson was issued summonses for speeding, failure to register a motor vehicle and a seat-belt violation.
  • Christina M. Wilburn, 32, of Jackson was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.
  • Dustin R. King, 34, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Brenda K. Elfrink, 56, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Edward E. Luker, 66, of Whitewater was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

  • An assault was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

Theft

  • Theft was reported in the 1000 block of Highland Drive.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 700 block of Eastview Court.

Miscellaneous

  • Domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Union Avenue.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Bellevue Street.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Dallas Street.
