The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt

Arrest

* Dustin J. Overbey, 20, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of theft.

Summonses

* Rebecca L. Bresnen, 41, 144 Pinoak Drive, was issued a summons for a stop sign violation.

* Tebra K. Essner, 26, 124 Bast St., was issued a summons for driving without an operator's license.

* Jeffery R. Beltz, 32, 905 Hillwood Lane, was issued a summons for illegally backing into an angled parking space.

* Jason E. Keesee, 38, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for prohibited parking of a trailer more than 10 feet parked on roadway.

* Kimberley S. Kennon, 50, 2415 Travelers Way, was issued a summons for public intoxication.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the area of North High Street and East Mary Street.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 1700 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

* An assist was requested in the 800 block of Amanda Street.

* A weapons violation was reported in the 300 block of North Missouri Street.

* A fireworks violation was reported in the area of Jackson City Park.
