The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• Michael S. Cruz, 36, 403 N. Hope St., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on a show-cause order.
• Robert L. Wilson, 41, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was arrested on a Hamilton County, Tennessee, warrant.
• Austin B. Baver, 21, 1014 North St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana under 35 grams.
• Zachary A. Payne, 21, 1435 Rolling Fields Drive, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
• Jevon D. Burleson, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of stealing.

Summonses

• Keith E. Talley, 40, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
• Cathryn V. Jaco, 21, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator's license.
• David E. Sanford, 46, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
• Bradley T. Alton, 35, of Jackson was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle and speeding.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported in the area of West Independence Street and Wimbledon Drive.

Thefts

• Theft was reported in the 2300 block of Stotler Way.
• Theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• Theft was reported in the 1000 block of North High Street.
• Theft was reported in the 800 block of Strawberry Lane.

• Peace disturbance was reported in the area of West Park Street.
• An assist was requested in the 3000 block of East Main Street.
• Check the welfare was requested in the 100 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.
• Check the welfare was requested in the 700 block of Dallas Street.
• Fraud was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
• An assist was requested in the 600 block of East Jefferson Street.
• Fraud was reported in the 600 block of East Jefferson Street.
