The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Alexis A. Wicks, 26, 2619 Hilltop Drive, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to register a motor vehicle.
- Austin J. Parker, 54, of Villa Ridge, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

- An assault was reported in the 300 block of South Missouri Street.
- An assault was reported in the 200 block of South Union Avenue.
Miscellaneous
- An assist was requested in the 2300 block of Bainbridge Road.
- Check the welfare was requested in the area of South Shawnee Boulevard and Old Cape Road.
- Keep the peace was requested in the 400 block of North Lacey Street.
- A peace disturbance was reported in the 500 block of East Adams Street.
- An assist was requested in the 1700 block of Mulberry Street.
- A peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Cathy Drive.
