JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• April D. Cecil, 32, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
• Berta L. Usrey, 44, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle without a license, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and a Cape Girardeau warrant.
• A 13-year-old boy was referred to juvenile authorities on suspicion of possession of alcohol.
• Terry A. Hale, 19, 206 Tracy St., was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant and issued a summons for illegal parking.
• A 14-year-old boy was referred to juvenile authorities on suspicion of assault.
• Derek D. Eaves, 49, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana under 35 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Summonses

• Joseph C. Archer, 28, of Jackson was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.
• Laura M. Wright, 26, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle, displaying plates of another and failure to affix the plate to a motor vehicle.
• Reed M. Thomas, 18, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for intermediate license violation.
• David C. Jennings Jr., 58, of Jackson was issued a summons for a seat-belt violation.
• April C. Eaker, 36, of Jackson was issued a summons for a seat-belt violation.

Assault

• An assault was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

Theft

• Theft was reported in the 2800 block of South Old Orchard Road.

Miscellaneous

• Trespassing was reported in the 1400 block of Wedgewood Drive.
• An assist was requested in the 2200 block of Bainbridge Road.
• An assist was requested in the area of Jackson Trail and South Hope Street.
• Check the welfare was requested in the 100 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.
• Check the welfare was requested in the 1400 block of Woodland Drive.
• Keep the peace was requested in the 600 block of Colorado Street.
• Identity theft was reported in the 700 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
• Domestic disturbance was reported in the 2400 block of Smith Trail.
