The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Harper D. Johnson, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Blake M. Stephens, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, theft from a motor vehicle, and was arrested on a probation and parole warrant.
  • Lucas E. Kaelin, 20, 4001 County Road 532, was arrested on suspicion of failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, being a minor in possession of alcohol, driving on park grass, property damage in the park after hours and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Summonses

  • Robert N. Welker, 26, of Millersville was issued a summons for a stop-sign violation.
  • Corey D. May, 34, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Yvonne M. Crawford, 60, of Morley, Missouri, was issued a summons for a stop-sign violation.
  • April M. Clark, 32, of Jackson was issued a summons for allowing a dog to run at large.

  • Theft was reported in the area of Union Station Road.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 600 block of West Adams Street.

Miscellaneous

  • An assist was requested in the 100 block of North Neal Street.
  • Check the welfare was requested in the 2400 block of Alpine Street.
  • Check the welfare was requested in the area of North Shawnee Boulevard and East Main Street.
  • Peace disturbance was reported in the 1300 block of Brandom Street.
  • Domestic disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Kies Avenue.
