The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Cody R. Nanney, 20, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol by a minor.

* Christopher D. Sams, 18, of Thebes, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Miscellaneous

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the area of North Georgia Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of East Madison Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.
