The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summonses

* Victoria J. Jackson, 20, 2853 County Road 318, was issued a summons for seat belt violation.

* Joshua C. Benefield, 36, of Doniphan, Mo., was issued summonses for speed and operating a motor vehicle with an expired license.

* Murray D. Baker, 43, of Cape Girardeau, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* n Matthew D. Nenninger, 33, 16896 Donna Drive, was issued a summons for failure to stop at a posted sign.

* Eugene E. Lungwitz, 72, 16659 U.S. Highway 61, Oak Ridge, was issued a summons for failure to stop at a posted sign.

* Cynthia M. Salzmann, 32, 236 S. Union Ave., was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Assault

* Assault was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 1200 block of Old Cape Road.

* Theft was reported in the 100 block of South Farmington Road.
