The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• Lidia M. Tavarez-Kight, 45, 747 Strawberry Lane, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of speeding.

Summonses

• Jacob C. Russell, 18, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for a seat-belt violation.
• Kirsten E. Miller, 20, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
• Arthur S. Buckles, 21, of Jackson was issued summonses for a stop-sign violation and failure to maintain insurance.

Theft

• Theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

• An assist was requested in the 200 block of North Missouri Street.
• A court-order violation was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
• Soliciting was reported in the area of Rebecca Street and Clark Street.
• Keep the peace was requested in the 700 block of Abbie Court.
• Keep the peace was requested in the 2000 block of Old Orchard Road.
• A peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of Kies Ave.
