The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Desiree S. Abbott, 36, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and endangering the welfare of a child.
• Sebastian C. Winkler, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on a show-cause order.

Summonses

• Rachel G. Harrell, 30, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
• Crystal R. Edney, 37, of Bismarck, Missouri, was issued a summons for displaying plates of another vehicle.
• Justin L. Kelley, 23, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
• Kenneth R. Madison-Key, 30, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
• Melissa H. Davis, 41, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
• Shelly L. McNeely, 46, of Jackson was issued summonses for a stop-sign violation, failure to yield to a motor vehicle and causing a motor vehicle accident.
• Heather A. Sterling, 30, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Theft

• Theft was reported in the 1300 block of Primrose Lane.

Miscellaneous

• An assist was requested in the 2100 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• An assist was requested in the 1500 block of Jennifer Drive.
• An assist was requested in the area of Shawnee Avenue and East Jackson Boulevard.
• An assist was requested in the 400 block of North Missouri Street.
• A court-order violation was reported in the 3000 block of Prairie View Trail.
• Keep the peace was requested in the 800 block of Sycamore Street.
• Peace disturbance was reported in the 1500 block of Oak Street.
• A fight in progress was reported in the 800 block of Strawberry Lane.
• Peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of East Lane.
• Harassment was reported in the 500 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• Fraud was reported in the 700 block of West Main Street.
• Fraud was reported in the 1000 block of North High Street.
