The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Austin D. Weissinger, 19, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

* Zachary J. Carpentier, 21, 530 Blanch St., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

* Makala M. Lopez, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Jeffrey A. Harker, 47, 309 Henderson St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.

* Jason A. Scott, 32, 732 August St., was arrested on a Stoddard County warrant.

* Sarah H. Cooper, 37, 1116 Cape Hills Drive, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and assault on law enforcement.

Summonses

* Zachary K. Moll, 17, of Perryville, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to register motor vehicle.

* Amber N. Welsh, 26, was issued a summons for allowing a dog to run at large.

* Daniel K. Claussen, 25, 253 S. Union Ave., was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a license in possession and displaying the plates of another.

* Alec N. Mayberry, 17, 2035 Green Ridge, was issued a summons for a stop-sign violation and failure to register a motor vehicle.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 100 block of South High Street.

* Theft was reported in 200 block of Morgan Street.

* Theft was reported in the area of City Park.

Miscellaneous

* A request to speak in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A welfare check in the 600 block of Abbie Court.

* An assist in the 400 block of Elwanda Drive.

* Peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of Old Cape Road.

* A fight in progress was reported in the area of West Main Street and North Union Avenue.
