The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• Taylor M. P. Newsom, 17, 930 E. Main St., was arrested on suspicion of assault on a law enforcement officer and possession of tobacco by a person under the age of 18.

Summonses

• Tracy R. Lawrence, 43, of Jackson was issued a summons for improper lane usage.
• Dustin J. Walton, 31, of Scott City was issued a summons for improper lane usage.
• Arthur T. Suzuki, 78, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
• David La, 36, of Jackson was issued a summons for seat-belt violation.
• Rodney A. Pinkerton, 39, of Millersville was issued a summons for seat-belt violation.
• Gary E. Davis, 63, of Glen Allen was issued a summons for seat-belt violation.
• Trent T. Wright, 34, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
• Romeo Valentino, 57, of St. Louis was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Thefts

• Theft was reported in the 1200 block of East Main Street.
• Theft was reported in the 1800 block of Bainbridge Road.
• Theft was reported in the 600 block of Otto Drive.

• An assist was requested in the 400 block of North Shawnee Boulevard.
• Welfare check was requested in the 1100 block of Hannah Street.
• Welfare check was requested in the 2600 block of East Main Street.

• Property damage was reported in the area of Hubble Ford.
