The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Eddie F. Hedge Jr., 34, 957 W. Independence St., was arrested on suspicion of careless driving and driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Brandon Kellum, 28, 416 East Lane, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault.

* John J. Hunze, 35, 1815 N. Kingshighway, Cape Girardeau, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

* Kala R. Pelton, 23, 736 Mulberry St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

Summonses

* Carla C. James, 54, 220 Morgan St., received a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 1400 block of Lee Avenue.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the area of North Union Avenue.
