POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 200 block of East Madison Street.

* A theft was reported in the 500 block of Nellie Street.

* A theft was reported in the 3000 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

* Harassment was reported in the 200 block of West Main Street.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 2800 block of Old Toll Road.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

* A drug violation was reported in the 300 block of South Farmington Road.

* A drug violation was reported in the 900 block of West Main Street.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* Emergency medical service on West Independence Street.

* A citizen assist on Old Cape Road.

* Emergency medical service on Bast Street.
