Jackson police/fire report 8/20/10

POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summonses

* A 16-year-old boy received a summons for driving while intoxicated, failure to yield, careless driving, improper lane usage and no operator's license.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 1500 block of Oak Street.

Miscellaneous

* Fraud was reported in the 600 block of Broadridge Drive.

* A drug violation was reported in the 100 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 1400 block of Woodland Drive.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* Emergency medical service on North Missouri Street.

* A motor vehicle accident on Broadridge Drive and Independence Street.

* A fire alarm on North Missouri Street.
