POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 700 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 400 block of Springview Drive.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported in the 1400 block of Woodland Drive.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 200 block of Timberlane Drive.

Miscellaneous

* Harassment was reported in the 800 block of Birdie Lane.

* Harassment was reported in the 100 block of West Adams Street.

* Harassment was reported in the 300 block of West Deerwood Street.

* A fireworks violation was reported on Optimist Hill Drive.

* A fireworks violation was reported on North Union Avenue.

* A fireworks violation was reported on Rosebud Drive.

* A fireworks violation was reported at 400 N. Hope St.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* Emergency medical service on Hannah Street.

* Emergency medical service on Lee Avenue.

* Mutual aid to the Gordonville Fire Department at Route K and Highway 25.
