The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Leslie D. Kennedy, 32, 425 East Lane, was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting.

* Jacob Patrick, 18, 1042 Anna St., was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.

* Joshua D. Crook, 17, 1210 Pawnee St., was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A theft was reported in the 3600 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the area of Luetje Street and North Union Avenue.

* Harassment was reported in the area of South Hope Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* Emergency medical service on West Independence Street.

* A hazmat incident on West Adams Street.
