Jackson police/fire report 2/11/11

POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the area of North High Street.

* A theft was reported in the 1500 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

* A theft was reported in the 3600 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Summonses

* Rebecca Canoy, 43, 719 N. Union Ave. #1, was issued a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Eduardo Rodriguez, 43, of Cape Girardeau was issued a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle and displaying plates of another vehicle.

* Brett Schermerhorn, 20, of Freidheim, Mo., was issued a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle and displaying plates of another vehicle.

Miscellaneous

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* Emergency medical service on East Jefferson Street.

* Emergency medical service in the 400 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

* Emergency medical service on South Shawnee Boulevard.

* Emergency medical service on West Adams Street.

* A smoke scare on Eastview Court.
