Jackson police/fire report 1/7/11

POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Ashley N. Kratzer, 23, 301 Elwanda Drive, was arrested on suspicion of fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 1900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

* Fraud was reported in the 2700 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Harassment was reported in the 1400 block of East Main Street.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 700 block of West Independence Street.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* A citizen assist on Deerwood Drive.

* Mutual aid on County Road 450.

Firefighters responded to the following call Thursday:

* A grass fire in the 800 block of Old Cape Road.
