Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Dennis S. Little, 47, 1726 Carolina Lane, Cape Girardeau, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive in a single lane.

Arrests

* Patrick W. Chesteen, 31, of Millersville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

* Sheri M. Jackson, 32, 724 S. Pacific St., Cape Girardeau, was arrested on suspicion of making a false police report and resisting arrest.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 2800 block of South Hope Street.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1700 block of Old Cape Road.

FIRE

Jackson

Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday:

* Emergency medical service on South Hope Street.

* A fire alarm on K Land Drive.

* Emergency medical service on South Shawnee Boulevard.

* Emergency medical service on Aaron Drive.

* Emergency medical service on Old Cape Road.
