The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Layne A. Pombert, 26, 4592 Highway 72, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and possession of synthetic narcotics.

Assault

* An assault was reported on Optimist Hill Drive.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 100 block of North Georgia Street.

Miscellaneous

* Fraud was reported in the 1100 block of K Land Drive.
