Jackson police and fire report 9/1/11

POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 1000 block of North High Street.

* Theft was reported in the 800 block of Birdie Lane.

* Theft was reported in the 700 block of West Independence Street.

Miscellaneous

* Harassment was reported in the 200 block of Hidden Meadows Drive.

FIRE

Jackson firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* Motor vehicle collision cleanup on West Jackson Boulevard.

* Processed nine drug labs from neighboring counties that were brought to the station on South Hope Street for collection and disposal.
