POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 200 block of Ohio Street.

* Theft was reported in the 200 block of Daisy Avenue.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported in the 200 block of Cherry Street.

Miscellaneous

* A keep the peace request was reported in the 700 block of Cherry Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 200 block of North Missouri Street.

* A court order violation was reported in the 1400 block of Tanglewood Road.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Tuesday:

* A medical assist on West Jackson Boulevard.

* A medical assist on North High Street.

* A medical assist on West Independence Street.
