POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summons

* Jeffery Dunaway, 29, 2535 Ridgeway Drive, was issued a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 300 block of South Georgia Street.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 800 block of Jessica Street.

Miscellaneous

* Fraud was reported in the 1500 block of North High Street.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Monday:

* Emergency medical assist on South Shawnee Boulevard.

* Process drug lab on South Hope Street.
