Jackson police and fire report 6/26/11

POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Anthony T. Sample, 33, 4002 Shalom St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing, removal of city property, prohibited individual connection of electricity, diverting/stealing electricity and tampering with utilities.

* Neecie M. Beaird, 26, of New Madrid, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear in court.

* Virginia K. Ford, 38, 909 W. Main St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana less than 35 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Zachary R. Wipfler, 17, 256 W. Washington St., was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of tobacco, possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 3700 block of Shalom Street.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 400 block of Kies Avenue.

* Theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Blvd.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 900 block of West Main Street.

* Property damage was reported in the 100 block of East Jefferson Street.

* Property damage was reported in the 3000 block of North High Street.

Miscellaneous

* A fight was reported in the 100 block of Court Street.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Bellevue Street.

* Harassment was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Tampering with a motor vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Jessica Street.

* A violation of a court order was reported in the 100 block of South High Street.

* A violation of a court order was reported in the 2400 block of Stacy Drive.

* Harassment was reported in the 1200 block of Brandom Street.

* Harassment was reported in the 100 block of Barton Street.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of North Missouri Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 800 block of West Main Street.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday.

* Emergency medical service on North Farmington Road.

* Emergency medical service on Jackson Trail.

* Grass fire on North Hope Street.

* Emergency medical service on Shawnee Circle.

* Emergency medical service on Old Toll Road.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday.

* Mutual aid on South Sprigg Street in Cape Girardeau.

* Emergency medical service on Oak Hill Street.
