Jackson police and fire report 5/17/11

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of being in a minor in possession of alcohol and also received a summons for driving without a valid license.

* Stephen Smoot, 31, 957 W. Independence St., was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and second-degree trespassing.

* Craig Jackson, 25, 1010 North St., was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation and received a summons for driving while license suspended.

* Tyrone Marion, 47, 1445 Woodland Drive, Apt. A, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for possession of marijuana and a traffic violation.

* Shawn Francis, 25, 914 Old Cape Road, was arrested on suspicion of simple assault and a peace disturbance.

Miscellaneous

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1400 block of Woodland Drive.

FIRE

Jackson firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

* Emergency medical service on West Main Street.

* Motor vehicle accident on East Jackson Boulevard.

* Motor vehicle accident on East Jackson Boulevard at South Hope Street.

* Hazardous condition on Old Orchard Road.

* Emergency medical service on West Jackson Boulevard.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday:

* A motor vehicle accident cleanup on U.S. 61.

* Emergency medical service on East Jefferson Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Sunday:

* Emergency medical service on South Union Street.

* Emergency medical service on East Jackson Boulevard.

* Emergency medical service on South Hope Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Monday:

* Process a drug lab on South Hope Street.

* Emergency medical service on South Shawnee Boulevard.
