The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of being in a minor in possession of alcohol and also received a summons for driving without a valid license.

* Stephen Smoot, 31, 957 W. Independence St., was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and second-degree trespassing.

* Craig Jackson, 25, 1010 North St., was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation and received a summons for driving while license suspended.

* Tyrone Marion, 47, 1445 Woodland Drive, Apt. A, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for possession of marijuana and a traffic violation.

* Shawn Francis, 25, 914 Old Cape Road, was arrested on suspicion of simple assault and a peace disturbance.

Miscellaneous

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1400 block of Woodland Drive.
