Jackson police and fire report 5/12/11

POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Austin Sander, 19, of Millersville was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and possession of 35 grams or less of K2 and received a summons for failure to have a license plate light.

Arrests

* Robert King, 20, 957 W. Independence St., Lot 19, was arrested on suspicion of hindering prosecution.

* Tamara Flemon, 36, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a warrant for second-degree robbery.

* Thomas Edmonds, 17, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Cason Clark, 17, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Summonses

* Jean Harker, 42, 122 E. Mary St., received a summons for simple assault.

* Paul Wood, 51, 816 Eagle Drive, received a summons for a dog at large.

* Daniel Hall, 19, 619 W. Adams St., received a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license, failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the area of Oak and North Bast streets.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following call Tuesday:

* A motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on West Independence Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* Emergency medical service on South Hope Street.

* An illegal burn on Henderson Street.
