POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summonses

* James J. Sievers, 28, 2397 Garrett Lane Apt. D, was issued a summons for failure to maintain insurance and failure to stop at a posted stop sign.

* Eduardo G. Rodriguez, 41, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Glen G. Ballard, 61, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Matthew R. Schaefer, 28, 214 N. Ohio St., was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Rhonda Sauerbrunn, 50, 1024 County Road 465, Jackson, was issued a summons for speeding.

* Todd Aufedenberg, 21, 1725 Route F, was issued a summons for speeding.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 400 block of South High Street.

Miscellaneous

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1100 block of Trail Ridge Drive.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:n An emergency medical service call on Dorothy Drive.

* An emergency medical service call on East Main Street.

* An emergency medical service call on Shady Lane.

* An emergency medical service call on South Missouri Street.

Firefighters responded to the following call Friday:

* A toaster fire on Trail Ridge Drive.
