Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Kristy McLain, 33, 425 Forest St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana under 35 grams.

* Kandyce Poddig, 20, 2080 Old Toll Road, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Hayley Yavuz, 29, 45 S. West End Blvd., Cape Girardeau, was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve, Mo., warrant for failure to appear in court.

* Joseph W. Hurst, 45, S. West End Blvd., Cape Girardeau, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear in court.

Summons

* Yessica C. Noriega, 23, 741 Goodson Drive, received a summons for peace disturbance.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Firefighters responded to the following call Friday:

* A medical assist on East Main Street and Donald Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday:

* A controlled burn in the 900 block of Highland Drive.

* A medical assist on Oak Street.

* A medical assist on Odus Street.

* A medical assist on North Maryland Street.
