Jackson police and fire report 10/5/11

POLICE

The Jacskon Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Daniel Lawrence, 32, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear and on five Scott County warrants for failure to appear.

* Anthony Q. Carter, 44, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Festus, Mo., warrant for failure to appear.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 100 block of West Main Street.

* Theft was reported in the 300 block of East Lane.

* Theft was reported in the 1200 block of East Main Street.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 700 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

* Property damage was reported in the 200 block of Elmwood Drive.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 3500 block of Shalom Street.

* Fraud was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of South Ohio Street.

* A domestic dispute was reported in the 1300 block of Old Cape Road.

* A domestic dispute was reported in the 2000 of Old Toll Road.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following call Sunday:

* Emergency medical service on North Missouri Street.

* Emergency medical service on East Jackson Boulevard.

* A motor vehicle accident on West Independence Street.

* Emergency medical service on Old Cape Road.

* An alarm on Bainbridge Road.

* Emergency medical service on West Jackson Trail.
