Jackson police arrested a suspect on suspicion of burglary whom Cape Girardeau police arrested last week on suspicion of burglary and stealing. According to Lt. Rodney Barnes, Jackson police arrested Jeffrey A. Harker, 40, 914 Old Cape Road, Jackson, after he allegedly told Cape Girardeau police about his alleged involvement in a Jackson burglary. Upon further investigation, a warrant was issued for Harker alleging three counts of burglary in Jackson: at Benchmark Printing Co., 2701 E. Jackson Blvd., Cape Starter and Alternator, 3276 Old Cape Road, and Jackson Fast Lube, 1901 E. Jackson Blvd. Warrant applications are pending review by the Cape Girardeau County prosecuting attorney's office. Harker was arrested in Cape Girardeau Jan. 11 on suspicion of burglary and theft for allegedly breaking into Fisher Auto Parts, 2350 Rust Ave.
