The Jackson Police Department reported the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Kimberly M. Lewis, 28, of Fredericktown, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

* Joshua D. Seyer, 19, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of being a minor being in possession of alcohol by consumption.

Summonses

* Trena E. Novak, 69, of Benton, Mo., was issued a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Justina A. Johnson, 24, of Cape Girardeau was issued a citation for failure to stop at a posted stop sign and failure to register a motor vehicle.

Thefts

* Two thefts were reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 300 block of East Lane.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 2300 block of York Drive.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Tuesday:

* Emergency medical service at the 2600 block of Old Toll Road.

* Emergency medical service on West Independence Street.

* Emergency medical service on West Jackson Boulevard.
