The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Jean M. Harkey, 44, 122 E. Mary St., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

* Gregory C. Horton, 25, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of possession of marijuana under 35 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the area of North Union Avenue and Luetje Street.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 1100 block of Highland Drive.

* Theft was reported in the 1200 block of Brandom Street.

* Theft was reported in the 3600 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 1200 block of Gloria Street.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 4900 block of Old Cape Road.

FIRE

The Jackson Fire Department responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* Mutual aid on Poe Lane in Gordonville.

* Emergency medical service on Green Meadows Drive.

* Emergency medical service on West Jefferson Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

* Emergency medical service on Westbrook Lane.

* Emergency medical service on Michael Anna Street.

Firefighters responded to the following call Saturday:

* Emergency medical service in the 3600 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
