JACKSON, Mo. -- An Illinois man, accused of groping an undercover police officer, pleaded innocent Monday to a misdemeanor sexual misconduct charge.
According to court records, on Dec. 13, Zachary T. Hannan, 51, of Mounds, Ill., exposed himself to an undercover police officer, then reached over and touched the officer's groin.
The officer was working undercover doing narcotics surveillance for the Missouri State Highway Patrol and had stationed himself at South Cape Girardeau County Park.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next month.
