GREENVILLE, Mo. -- A Bernie, Mo., woman sustained moderate injuries Friday in a two-vehicle accident near Greenville.
Passenger Amanda Hill, 26, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center after the 11:35 a.m. accident on U.S. 67, six miles south of Greenville.
Another passenger in the same vehicle, Paula Rogers, 17, of Greenville also sustained moderate injuries and was taken to the same hospital.
Both drivers received minor injuries.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Jeffery Hill, 18, of Bernie crossed the centerline and struck the other vehicle head-on. The other vehicle was driven by Timothy Slaughter, 43, of McGee, Mo.
Jeffery Hill was cited for failure to drive on the right half of the road and no seat belt. Slaughter was cited for no seat belt.
