* At 5:08 p.m., medical assist at the 600 block of South West End Boulevard.

* At 5:55 p.m., motor vehicle accident at Siemers Drive and William Street.

* At 9:05 p.m., smell of gas at Independence Street and Minnesota Avenue.

* At 9:09 p.m., medical assist at the 1900 block of Rand Street.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday:

* At 1:07 a.m., medical assist at Broadway and North Ellis Street.

* At 2:30 a.m., alarm sounding at 325 N. Sprigg St.

* At 4:35 a.m., medical assist at the 300 block of South Hanover Street.

* At 10:16 a.m., alarm sounding at 325 N. Sprigg St.

* At 10:30 a.m., medical assist at the 600 block of South West End Boulevard.

* At 10:41 a.m., brush fire at 3102 Lexington Ave.
